Green Mapping

Foggy mornings make for a great green reading exercise.  You can see with the extra moisture on the greens, the “dew trail” (left) will show you exactly how the putt rolled.  Even if the putt doesn’t go in, it’s great information about the slopes and subtleties of each green.  Store this information for future reference in your permanent memory or a golf bag notebook. The next time you will know exactly how the slope of the green will effect your putt. . .even if it’s sunny out (and assuming gravity is still working?)
