Breathe Life Into Your Game
“You have to tame your breath to tame your brain” -BKS Iyengar
The quickest way to improve your attitude, swing tempo and focus is to breathe! Taking slow, long, deep diaphragmatic breaths is a game changer.
Important shots in golf require our brain to be quiet and focused. Use your deep breathing techniques while:
- Waiting on the group in front of you.
- Standing on the first tee.
- Walking between shots.
- PRE-SHOT ROUTINE.
- Distracted by a playing partner.
- Too nervous or tense over a shot.
- Emotionally charged, angry.
- Swing tempo is getting too quick.
- And more. .
Often overlooked, but an essential tool, use deep breathing to keep you on track and play your best golf.
