A Three-some of Golf Exercises

‘Tis the season to commit to better fitness. Add these golf specific exercises to pump up your game:

1. Cat Extensions/Bird Dogs
Begin in cat/table top position. Extend opposite arm and leg. Hold for 5-10 deep breaths and then repeat on the other side.


2. Revolved Cat/Reach Backs
Begin in Cat/table top position. Inhale, extend bent left arm upward. Exhale, rotate the left elbow to the right wrist. Continue for 10-15 times and then repeat on the other side.

3. Forearm Plank
From the forearms, tuck the toes and bring the body parallel to the ground. Engage the core while sustaining for 20-60 seconds 3 times. (For more ease, drop to knees)
*Avoid or modify all exercises if there is an injury.
