Quick Tip 101:
Correct alignment is challenging for even the most advanced golfers. Create a simple method in your pre-shot routine:
- Breifly stand behind the ball, and pick an “intermediate” target (perhaps a leaf or grass 3-5 feet in front of the ball.) In theory, it’s easier to align to an “intermediate target” 3-5 feet in front of the ball rather than 150 yards away.
- Practice on the range with alignment sticks to “train” your eyes to see the propper alignement.
- Invision a line from the target to the ball and place your clubface on it. Then set your feet and body parallel to the invisioned target line.
