The Rains And The Rough Are Coming
The rains are coming and the rough is going to get thick and deep! Although the prolific English Daisies won’t be affecting our club’s impact position too much, we should be mindful of our winter-time conditions.
How the ball sits in the grass will determine club selection and shot choice. Assessing the potential amount of grass between the ball and the clubface will establish our strategy. A clear pathway to the back of the ball makes it more straight-forward. A thick clump of grass will perhaps require a different target, club, or motion for both full swing and chip shots.
And perhaps opting to play a colored golf ball until the English Daisies stop blooming?
