Mastering Uneven Lies: Ball Below Feet
When faced with the uneven lie of the “ball below your feet,” (for example, the approach shot on #6 at Delaveaga for right-handed golfers) adapt your stance to maintain balance and control.
- Widen your stance and bend your knees to lower your center of gravity, ensuring stability on the slopped terrain.
- Aim slightly left of the target to compensate for the ball’s tendency to curve to the right.
Lastly, focus on a smooth, controlled swing, allowing the slope to naturally influence the shot.
